There is nothing more precious to me than seeing the lives of children changed for the better and knowing that I was a part of the process. See some of my awesome kids!
Although I can hardly remember it, I first met Katherine Lunde when I was 5 years old. At the time she was the head of the preschool I attended. Now, more than 25 years later, she has helped guide our family as we raise our 3 children. From monitoring the development of our premature twins to finding the perfect preschool and elementary school for each of our children, Katherine has led the way for us.
As a mother, teacher and school administrator Katherine’s broad prospective on children and the many options for educating children is invaluable; in short she has the experience and wisdom that you can trust. I am incredibly grateful that our paths have crossed not once but twice.
~Kathryn F., Dallas Mom
When we were first introduced to Katherine, we were looking for help weeding through the private school jungle. We invited her into our home to meet our twin girls (now 4 years old) and knew after that first introduction that our family was forever changed. She has brought such insight to our lives over the past year. It is a real comfort to know that you always have someone on your side, with your best interest at heart.

Katherine Lunde has been part of our family for over 10 years. We met Katherine at our church when she spoke on children and education – We hired her on the spot!!! She was initially hired to help in placing our two children in schools best suited for them. Over the years, she has worked with us and our children in many different areas; including tutoring, testing and helping to find other professionals specific to our children’s needs. Katherine continues to help in school guidance. It won’t be long before she will be assisting us in the college process!

In eight years as an administrator, I have never known someone who is so knowledgeable and willing to help students. Katherine Lunde goes above and beyond for her clients. She makes sure that the school, parents and student are all on the same page and working towards the same goal.

I have worked with Katherine Lunde for over two years in a professional capacity. Katherine is extremely capable, identifies the problems quickly, and then solves them efficiently. She is direct, compassionate, and persistent. Katherine is very committed to her work and obviously loves helping children with their challenges. I often recommend Katherine to my patients and their families and feel completely confident that she is highly capable to solve the problems.

We have worked successfully with Ms. Lunde for over 8 years for our 2 children, an 11 yr old boy and 8 yr old girl. Ms. Lunde periodically has reviewed our children’s academic, social, and emotional progress as needed. When the kids struggled in school, she entered our home, our schools, and our hearts with her keen knowlege of child development and Dallas schools. She met with their teachers, with both parents, and with each child to determine their specific needs, learning styles, and opinions. After a painless and rather quick turn around time, she was able to meet with us to share her findings. Her findings changed our lives for the better. Recommendations like “He needs more structure, some play therapy, and fine motor development” and “She has a lot of creativity naturally, but she craves a more challenging academic enviornment… it’s time to give it to her” were so insightful.
As their needs changed and increased, Ms. Lunde followed up with specific names of trained and trusted experts who joined our family’s support system. Together with Ms. Lunde we have an educated understanding of our childrens’ ever-changing academic and social profiles. We look forward to many more years of her service and advice as we continue into middle and high school because kids just don’t stop growing or changing!

Katherine Lunde has been an invaluable resource for our family with every thing from solving sibling conflict, better parenting techniques, and tutoring our three children ages 11, 8, and 2, to get solid in school. She was instrumental helping find a matching school for one child who was having difficulty. She was willing to help meet with the teachers and counselors at each school we looked at and pave the way for a smooth transition. She has the utmost integrity and is a pleasure to work with.

Katherine Lunde became an integral part of our family almost 5 years ago. She has been an excellent resource for many family needs – educational, relational, behavioral, etc. All our children look forward to working with Katherine, and what they’ve learned has been impressive. We always feel free to call Katherine with questions, concerns, or advice.

As the keynote speaker at parenting class at my church, I met Katherine when I needed her help the most. I was frustrated by my inability to understand my children and couldn’t find the one book that would tell me exactly what to do. Katherine has been my guide since, giving me the confidence I was lacking to raise my children. Her advice is practical and concrete but it also is flexible and loving. The words she has used to teach and guide my husband and I are now part of my family’s daily vocabulary.
Katherine has also been able to help our family in the search for the “right” private school. It is extremely helpful to have her unvarnished assessment of the strengths of our children and how they match with particular schools in Dallas.
With both my parenting and my educational needs, Katherine has been the answer to the question, “what in the heck do I do?” I would and do recommend her to every family of young children, even those who seem to know it all. I am ever grateful for what she has done to help my family thrive.

Katherine Lunde has been an answer to prayer. I am a single Mom and realized my son (at age 6) had some learning differences. I knew that he/we needed help but didn’t know where to turn. I wanted to make sure to know my options. I wanted the best for my son and was blessed to have Katherine to guide me through some difficult decisions. Her process of getting to know a child is a true gift. She is all about doing what is best for the child. That is exactly what I wanted. I did not want to feel like I was “settling” for something. I wanted to know I had truly looked at all the options. Someone who was on my team and cared about his best interest. Katherine gave me great encouragement and sound advice. She tells it like it is in a gentle caring way. I love her direct, honest, but kind approach. She is highly respected by all the schools I visited. She gets the job done. She is a activist for the best interest of the child. She is passionate about her clients. Anytime I have a question I know Katherine can answer it or lead me to the right person who can. She is a wealth of knowledge. I imagine she will be part of our life for a very long time. She is a huge blessing to us!
